It becomes everyday harder to write about India, at least for me. Yet, not less enjoyable.
Still, when I first started this blog, what I was looking for was a way of keeping you (being curious as much as me) posted about my adventures in the subcontinent. My perspective and the one of the reader of this blog were relatively similar. Now, instead, I feel the effort of "presenting" the India I am experiencing, the choice of pictures and impressions to publish, is an exercise in style and composition. I am more and more "in it". mmmmm, I could start speaking of me as if I did not know me...a passer-by....well, Delhi's pollution did not make ma mad to this point, even if it is clinically proved that living one year in the capital is as bad for your lungs as smoking for 10 years.
So, If I write less and publish more pictures it is just because it is easier, and possibly more effective as well. I guess you can see what I think (beyond the short comments I post) enjoy a little trip south, 10 days across Christmas in Bangalore, New Year's Eve in Goa and Karnataka and Mumbay in between.
Just few comments: 28 degrees celcius, matriarchal society, much less crowded, very much laid back....GREAT.
the incredible temples of the state of Karnataka... Belur and Halebid
In Karnataka and, as far as I know, in the whole South of India, in the morning blessing and welcoming geometrical figures and drawn on the street in front of the door. it is normally very sophisticated...and it is done with white powder, no chalk whatsoever...
